We love Davis Kidd play dates - and Keenan got to play with Piper and Memphis. He hadn't seen them both in a very long time!

Road trip to Louisville, KY

We decided to meet Jeff, Nikki and Audrey half way in Louisville, KY for a no-stress weekend stay. The kids are at a great stage to play together. We decided to not plan a thing...just let them run hallways - swim in the pool - and get good quality play time in the hotel. It was perfect ~ they had more fun then I have ever seen Keenan have in his life. All I can say is the closet games for one year olds can be hours of entertainment for all!!! hours, and hours, and hours....

Grandpa Dave and Keenan

Grandpa Dave and Great Grandma Bonnie stayed with us for one night this week. It was nice to see them and Keenan got to show off all his tricks. Walking/Talking/Running/Playing basketball/Pretending to read his books/Pretending he is a choo choo train...etc. He is full of entertainment. If he thinks you aren't paying attention he will grab you and pull you over to whatever it is he wants you to see or do. Somehow I failed to get a picture of Great Grandma Bonnie and Keenan - so we will have to get that on her way back from Florida. Grandpa Dave is doing great. He is gaining a little weight and looks and acts so much more like himself. He seems to have beat this thing not just physically but now mentally as well and we couldn't be happier! We are fortunate to be a stopping point on their trip. Can't wait to see them again soon.

BTW if you happen to be wondering - Keenan is really no longer on the bottle - but when things get crazy around the house he tends to not eat. Therefore, it was our last resort before bedtime! :)

Airplane pics.

A few pictures from the flights. Not his first time traveling by plane, yet this age was quite a bit more difficult. He did the best he could and we were really proud of him. We used a baby b'air life vest for the flight. People thought we were crazy but it really helped keep him still during the flight. It buckles him into my seat. I just felt safer this way - regardless if it really was or not.

Naples Art Show

We went to Naples for the afternoon when we were in Florida. Keenan loves the sculptures and they took his picture next to one of them for the Naples Daily News.
