Finley's first Valentines Day Party was this morning. She dressed in her party dress with her red heart shoes! I couldn't resist it was so stinkin' cute!

Guess What? Finley loves food. I wasn't too worried about her not liking it, but it definitely was a big success!

I think we are going to have a great eater on our hands! Such a change from Mr. Picky Pants!

Another Southern Snow Day

Finley didn't get to see her first big snow storm last week due to her being sick. Therefore, I took a collage of pictures today with the window shades open to catch the beauty of today's unexpected snow fall. Unfortunately, the snowfall didn't show up in the pictures well yet Finley's cuteness showed up forsure. She is getting bigger by the day. She is so laid back, she laughs at everything, she makes very loud noises (sometimes sounds like she is screaming 'mom' - I like to pretend:), loves changing her clothes, loves watching her brother, grins from ear to ear when her daddy walks through the door, she is sleeping through the night (sometimes), she tasted her first bite of rice cereal on Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday), She enjoys Keenan's music class, she loves to suck on her fingers, she is sitting up really well (not completely on her own, but close), she isn't rolling much yet but she seems to just take her own sweet time with things. She is not as active as Keenan so we can't really compare the two being they are so day and night. I guess she just knows Keenan has enough energy bouncing off the walls for all of us!

Finley's 1st 5 Months Video

I think organizing photo's and keeping track of everything in one place has become a fun hobby for me, which is why I love this blog so much. I figure there is no reason in taking pictures unless we do something with them...which leads me to the Finley video. Although she is the second, there are no shortages of photo-shoots with this darlin' gal. I have had this fear my computer would crash and I may loose her first five months of pictures. Therefore, I put them all in one place for her for the future. I'm sure no one will watch 10 minutes of pictures, but for our sake I am posting them on here so they are out there in cyberspace just in case my computer ever crashes.

Snow Saturday 2010

 

 

 

 

Nashville got 4 INCHES of snow! I don't remember a snow that actually stuck here since 2004, so this is so much fun for Keenan! They don't sell sled's here, or should I say they don't stock them - so if there was a sled in town it was gone instantly. Therefore, we have had to get creative and use inter tubes/boxes/trash can lids/whatever people can find. We have now popped all our inter tubes because the ice on top of the snow. Keenan's face is bright red and raw from being so cold, so the only way I can bribe both boys to come inside is cookies and hot chocolate!

It is so great how people go nuts here for snow! It's just such a rare occurrence!
