Notes about Ford

Ford is growing like a weed.  I'd say around 15 lbs.  Wearing 6 month old clothes already.  He is a happy baby when he isn't having tummy trouble. Which seams to be most afternoons and evenings.  His mornings we get smiles and coos and some giggles.  He is a snacker.  Only eats a couple ounces but eats often.  He fights sleep. He'll only nap a few min at a time.  He has one good four our stretch around 8pm to midnight.   Then up every two hours still.  Probably because he just snacks and never gets a full feeding.  He gets about 90 percent formula at this point as we are trying to regulate him better on a schedule.   He hates driving In the car, especially red lights.  And still loves just being outside all day.  His eyes look like they may be turning brown.   He has his little friend Max that comes over. They can sense each other.  I think Ford always seems happier when he is around.  Everyone says he looks like his dad and Finley but with dimples.  I agree but definitely see his papa John in him daily.  His brother wants to be with him all the time.  He is more and more able to be entertained by them.  Three months already. How does that happen!! ♥

Field trip

Had fun going with Keenan on a field trip to Symphony and Hall of fame.  It was special time.  Finley was there too but unfortunately didn't get to be with her group.

Finleys been waiting all year to be a flower girl in Matt and Aline's wedding.  She and the bride wore cowboy boots.  It was such a great weekend seeing family and the kids had a blast dancing the night away!

Notes about Ford:

We are embarking on the 8th week of life! Ford loves being outside more than anything.  He's growing quickly.  Sleeps sometimes three hours in a row :) mostly wants to sleep on myself or Ben.  He has his fussy times (pretty much all day:) but he laughs and smiles in the mornings around 6:30 a.m. on the dot. He eats all the time (no schedule).  He loves music, the shush machine, the rock n play and being wrapped up tightly in a boba wrap.  He doesnt mind baths.  His brother and sister fight over who can hold him (which is usually neither one of them as they have colds and he cant be exposed) :(   They do a lot of kissing his feet and back of head.  They both sing to him in the car because he cries a lot while we are driving.   Love these little ways we are getting to know him.
