My friend Courtney posted a new blog about this great new website. Although, my typical blog posts are all about Keenan, this site is my new 'thing'!!! I kind of love it and I think you will too. Therefore, we must share great technology with each other....

I am loving listening to my own radio stations while on my computer. As we speak, Ben and I are listening to our Conway created station ~ what a great summer night with a little Conway inspired tunes in the background. Pick your own favorite artist - I promise this site doesn't disappoint music lovers.


Now if we could of only come up with this concept! BRILLIANT!!!

Uncle Sam

Another year - another I Surf Uncle Sam apprearance by Ben. He has become somewhat of a mascot in Sumner County for patriotism. Lots of shaking hands and kissing babies at the festivals. He is pictured here with Ron, who did sales for him for quite awhile almost a year ago. Ron now owns his own Dry Cleaning business in Hendersonville. I hate that Ben couldn't spend the fourth with us but how could we deny all of Sumner County their Uncle Sam!!!

9 Months

We had our nine month appt. yesterday and he is getting so big. He is 20 pounds and 29 inches long. Dr. Mallard told us he would be a good eater for the next three months, but boy have we struggled with food the last two days. These are pictures of us trying to get his spinich down. He was quite active during the attempt and we missed his mouth. He is very stubburn and purses his lips and shakes his head no with about everything we try to feed him. The only thing we can rely on is his applesauce. Any suggestions out there are always welcome. We have tried everything and he is just refusing food. He still takes his bottle though, which we were told we needed to start weening him off the formula. As funny as these pictures were, we are all a little frustrated with meal times.


He loves his nightly wagon ride down our street. He is intrigued by the wheels and loves to put his hand on the wheel as it rolls, staring at it like it was the coolest thing in the world. (Thanks again - Rose and Judy)
We had a great first Fourth of July. Ben had to work Friday but Saturday we had some folks over to cook out. We then took Keenan to the zoo on Sunday and it was a great family day. He still likes to look at the people - trees - leaves - fences - and ground much more than he likes the animals at this point. I think it is more fun for mom and dad! His teether is Sophie the Giraffe (in zoo picture below) which was a gift from his girlfriend Frances (9 months). He is in love with this toy and we keep it on a leash (shoestring) attached to the stroller wherever we go.

More Fathers Day Pictures

Sorry, I just had to post all of these pics because I couldn't choose my favorites. We stopped in Louisville for lunch and a walk on our drive home from Indiana. This is by the riverfront park. We forgot we had these on our camera until we found them yesterday. It was a pleasant surprise to see these cute little expressions. Without sounding like a doting mom, he is really always this happy.

Playgroup Pics.

Keenan has been around some of these friends for about 6 months in our exercise class, but now we started a playgroup. Our first one was this week, therefore we documented with pictures. He had such fun playing, crawling and putting every single toy in his mouth!

Marigny almost 9 Months, Hannah 6 Months, Miles 8 Months, Skye 10 Months, and Keenan almost 9 months.
