Summer fun begins!

Happy Mother's Day, Waffle House Style!

A good day of church, waffle house, cleaning house and movie night! Exactly what I wanted - a normal day which never seems to happen much these days! So thankful for being a mother and for our mother's who have helped shape us into who we are!

Haircut's make kids look so much older

Keenan has the cutest new haircut.  Might be the first time I have said that, because I normally do not enjoy new haircuts.  I can always find fault but I know my attempts have been worse than anyone's. This time he looks 2 years older now..that is my only fault.  I love these sponge bob jammy's too.  I have a fondness of any pj's that the kids own.  I get too sentimental on the fact that I become attached to those jammy's and the age that the children wear them. 

These are just fun ages!  Can I put them in a box at age 4 and age 2 and keep them here awhile.  We are loving all things that come with these ages and although excited for future - I am planning on savoring every single moment of this summer. 

If you wonder where we are this summer...since we have no school, no camps, no vacation bible schools, no classes.....it will be having picnics, going to the pool, eating ice cream for dinners, playing at parks, going to the library, having play dates and doing all things kid possible!

Karate Keenan

Keenan is starting to like Karate. It took him a bit to warm up to it. I wasn't sure it was gonna be his cup of tea, but then he started improving and feeling assured. It's been great to help bring him out of his shell a little bit and give him a voice. His graduation to a new belt color is this Friday. He can barely talk about anything else he is so excited!

Easter Sunday

Last Min. Spring Break Lake Trip - Alabama

We did a spontaneous last minute trip with our friends the Durst's for spring break at their lake house. We only went over night but we packed in the fun. We were able to see Leo and Una the lions on campus, we took a boat ride, fed the burrows, went to dinner, shopped, ate ice cream...all in all it was the most fun we could of packed into one day! Hadley, Frank and Keenan and Finley get along so well. We have been lucky to find such good friends for all of us!

Easter Egg Hunt at School

Keenan did their Easter Egg hunt at school early due to their spring break. He enjoys his class this year. Austin is still the one he plays with most but he also loves all of them! Hadley, Elsa, Ben, Elijah, John John, Maren, Mitchell and Aaron are also on his soccer team too-so that is fun!
